History of Capitol Smoke Elizabeth City

In 2019, we got the opportunity to add another location, Harbor Glass & Fine Tobacco, to our portfolio and it quickly became a local favorite of Elizabeth City. Up the street from the bustling waterfront, this jewel gained a glowing reputation through its on-site glass blowing.

While the founding artists went on to bigger and better things, they didn’t want their store to go to just anyone, so they passed the torch on to us! Being our third location in North Carolina, we were confident in its success.

Elizabeth City has recently revitalized sections of the downtown area and is one of NC’s up and coming cities. In order to offer the same selection of cigars our other locations provide, we converted the glass blowing studio into a walk-in humidor. We now have the largest selection of cigars in the city!

We have been in this business for almost 30 years now and we have developed special relationships with all the cigar manufacturers. As a result, you will find the best prices on top brands like Gurkha, Drew Estates, Arturo Fuente, Cohiba, Ashton, Macanudo, Rocky Patel, and Padron just to name a few.

Of course, you will need a cutter and lighter for those sticks. Whichever you prefer: single blade, double blade, v-cuts, punches, you will find something to get the job done. The same goes for lighters as we have torches like Colibri as well as standards like Bic and Djeep.

One of our other specialties is glass. We have traveled to glass conventions such as CHAMPS and Glass Vegas every year to meet face to face with all the established artists as well as the up-and-coming ones. Over the years, we have picked up the best heady pieces from straight tubes to rigs to recyclers, so you are guaranteed to find something that will fit your needs.

In addition, we carry all the top brands. You will find plenty of ROOR, Medicali, MJ Arsenal, and Sheldon Black on our shelves. Our knowledgeable staff can answer all your questions and help you find what you are looking for.

Don’t forget accessories! We have plenty of options for your rig: buckets, blenders, and terp slurpers! This goes for dab tools as well. From simple titanium and glass straws to fancy Damascus steel swords and handmade glass dabbers, there are plenty of options to choose from. If concentrates aren’t your thing, we also have a wide selection of 14/18 mm slides and ash catchers.

No one likes a smelly pipe, so we also stock a variety of glass cleaners. We have Formula 420, Grunge Off, and Formula 710, in either instant or soaking cleaners. One of those are sure to get your pieces spick and span.

No matter if it’s glass, metal, or another material, we guarantee to have something to get it clean. We also carry an array of compacted cotton swabs and isopropyl alcohol for those that prefer to clean after every use.

Even though we are the smallest of our stores, we have utilized every square inch to stock all the favorites! We carry a large selection of wraps and cigarillos like Game, Dutch Masters, and Backwoods.

With plenty of authentic papers to choose from, it’ll be easy to find your Zig Zags, Elements, or RAW essentials. We have a variety of disposable vapes, smoke odor candles, incense, discrete safes, and all kinds of other products to meet your needs.
